Association History
You have to know where you’ve been to know where you are going. Kappa holds a special place in its heart for Fraternity history, but every association of our organization has unique beginnings of its own. Each plays a part in shaping us today and continuing the Kappa tradition beyond college.
The Omaha Kappa Alumni Club was founded February 1, 1913, and we are currently celebrating our 111th year in existence. We are proud members of the Zeta District and are one of two alumnae associations in Nebraska.
Our club encompasses the Greater Omaha Metro Area/Southwest Iowa and includes the following towns and cities: Atlantic, Carter Lake, Council Bluffs, Glenwood, Missouri Valley, Red Oak, and Treynor, Iowa; Arlington, Ashland, Bellevue, Bennington, Blair, Boys Town, Elkhorn, Ft. Calhoun, Gretna, Herman, LaVista, Kennard, Omaha, Papillion, Plattsmouth, Ralston, Springfield, Tekamah, Waterloo, and Valley, Nebraska. If you live in the area and your city is not mentioned but would like to be a part of something great, we would love to have you join our association!
